Organization Development Philosophy

mPPS, LLC realizes the constraints organizations are under to perform at an optimum level.  The firm conducts needs assessments with organizations to determine a baseline of development work needing to be conducted.  The next step is to work within a phase format to assist the organization in reaching its true potential.  The firm develops a logic model to assist the organization in identifying the problem; determining the best inputs, activities and outputs needed to address the problem; developing immediate and intermediate outcomes moving the organization towards their goal reaching the impact desired.

The most vital lessons mPPS, LLC has learned while providing consulting services are: Organizations…

1. Are resource deficient and oftentimes a resource development plan is synonymous with an organization development plan;
2. Are sometimes challenged in providing quality programs and services by not having access to state-of-the-art technology to leverage their ability to do so;
3. Have staff that need skills set assessment and development to assist them in performing at their highest capacity;
4. Oftentimes do not have policies, procedures or training manuals in place to document and institutionalize the development of the organization; and
5. Want to do well and provide quality programs and services to their target communities.

Given these lessons, mPPS, LLC takes a nurturing approach to developing organizations.  In that, the firm will take an organization as fast or as slow as it needs to go to be able to provide the best programs and services possible.  From developing a board of directors/staff retreat to conducting program evaluation, mPPS, LLC has the ability to assist organizations reach their capacity to serve.
